Bus Snooze Manual

 Welcome!
Bus Snooze is a location based alarm clock. Useful for those times you just want a quick nap on the way to work, or just want to know when you have arrived.
Here is a guide to get you started:

1) Adding a new alarm:
A new alarm can be added in two different ways:

1.1) From the map:
Alarm can be added easily from the map by either:
1.1.1)   Searching for an address: "Menu > Address Search".
1.1.2)  Searching for coordinates: "Menu > Coordinate Search".
1.1.3)  Adding a pin manually to the map by pressing on it.
Each one of these options sets a pin on the map, you can the select "Menu > Add Alarm" and the location marked on the map will be used when adding the new alarm. Now just enter a name for your alarm and the distance you want to wake up from the set point, and press the "Add Alarm" button.

1.2) From the home screen:
To add an alarm right from the home screen, select the "Add New Alarm" button.
You will now be presented with the new alarm screen. Here you can set the alarm type ( see chapter #5 ), the alarm name, the alarm distance, and the alarm coordinates. Changing the coordinates can be done by pressing the search icon next to the to coordinates. Pressing this button will launch the map and allow you to search by Address (1.1.1) or Coordinates (1.1.2) . Once you have set a pin on the map you can choose to use it by pressing "Use this location". You may also use your current location by pressing "Use my location" (no need to set a pin for this).

2) Disabling and Enabling alarms:
Disabling and Enabling alarms can be done from:
2.1) The map: Active alarms are blue, and Inactive are red. You can change their state by pressing on their map marker and select "Enable \ Disable Alarm" from the menu.
2.2) From the "Alarms" screen: This screen contains the list of alarms you have previously saved. here you can activate and deactivate them by pressing the check box next to the alarm's name.

please note:
 - When a new alarm is added it will be automatically enabled.
 - When an alarm is sounded it is deactivated.

3) Editing alarms:
Alarms can be edited by either:
3.1) Long pressing the alarm you want to edit in the "Alarms" screen and select "Edit" from the menu.
3.2) Pressing the alarm marker on the map and selecting "Edit".

The "Edit Alarm" screen allows you to all the settings of the alarm as well as it's location by using the magnifying glass button next to the coordinates

4) Deleting Alarms:
Alarms can be deleted by either:
4.1) Long pressing the alarm you want to edit in the "Alarms" screen and select "Delete" from the menu.
4.2) Pressing the alarm marker on the map and selecting "Delete" from the menu.

5) Alarm Types:
There are 3 different alarm types you can select from:
5.1) Location Alarm: This alarm is the basic location based alarm. It will sound once you reach the destination you have set.
5.2) Time Alarm: This is a regular time alarm which will sound when the time you have set passes.
5.3) Combined Alarm: This is a combination of the first two types of alarm. It will sound either when the destination has been reached or the time set has passed. Useful if you want to make sure you wake up in a certin amount of time event if you have not reached your destination yet.

6) Settings:
Here is a list of the application settings and and explanation about each one of them:

6.1) Alarm Sound - Select the sound which will be played once the alarm is sounded.
6.2) Vibrations - Select whether the phone will Vibrate, Vibrate and Ring, or Just Ring.
6.3) Units - Select the applications unit system.
6.4) Alarm Volume - Select the alarms volume.
6.5) Always On Mode* - If this is selected your location will constantly be checked by a background service. This mode is less battery efficient but more accurate and can be used to sound an alarm at a very precise location.
6.6) Location Check Frequency - If the previos setting is not set then this setting will allow you to set how often your location is sampled.
6.7) Zoom Buttons - If this is checked the map will contain zoom buttons for non multi-touch devices.

6.8) Advanced options:
6.8.1) Use Network Location - This will allow you to use you network based location when checking your alarm (only GPS is used for "Always On Mode"). This is inaccurate but useful when in places where GPS signal is hard to acquire. For example: in a train.

Important Note: If you do have a good GPS signal be sure to use the network location option. However do note that the network location is sometimes very inaccurate and may wake you early or not at all - a bigger radius is recommended when using network location.
